We are excited to bring you the Home for the Holidays Event! We will be giving away gifts for just about anyone on your gift list! Enter for your chance to win:

    I learned they offer Guided tours—exclusive visits to areas of Biltmore House not open to the public led by knowledgeable hosts; private guided tours offered before and after normal operating hours

    The building that houses the Biltmore Winery today was once the location of the estate Dairy.

  18. I have visited Biltmore Estates, and it was amazing! I loved it-the history, the architecture, the grounds, the stables, the winery. It was a very enjoyable tour. Looking forward to visiting it again someday.

  20. I’ve actually been to the Biltmore estate. I loved seeing how they decorate for Christmas through that site, though.

  21. I like the fact that you can stay there and take a vacation. On Christmas they have candlelight Christmas Evenings that run up to December 31. This would be beautiful to see.

    I have always wanted to visit Biltmore. I found it interesting that they offer horse drawn carriage rides and that it sits on 8,000 acres!

    When George Vanderbilt opened his Biltmore home to family and friends on Christmas Eve 1895, it was a celebration for the ages. A huge tree laden with gifts greeted guests.

  31. My husband loves old cars. I had no idea they had a rare 1913 Stevens-Duryea Model C-Six, the only car George Vanderbilt purchased, on the estate.

  37. …that’s unreal.. There is so much available to take your mind off the world… it seems like a very relaxing environment, but, somehow, I am pretty sure that I’d find myself using that online map several times… (an hour!)

    Biltmore is the largest estate in the Us i found this out from my own research a few months back.There is a lot of history with this castle.It has 250 rooms but 201 guest rooms I guess i find that interesting

    Wow! That’s not an estate – that’s a castle! I love that it has a winery too. That’s the part I would be most interested in touring and doing some tasting.

    I have been there a few times, two of my Husband’s uncles’ delivered Biltmore Milk for their truck routes. I love this place, it’s so beautiful, I know that at Christmas time a long time ago, they would have gifts for their employee’s kids and have a big party and give them out. The grounds are so unique, I love their landscaping. One thing I didn’t know was they have weddings there; I think it’s the perfect place for our vow renewal, now that I know that.

    Biltmore Blackberry Bellini
    Ingredients:
    • 1 oz. blackberry brandy
    • 1 oz. blackberry purée
    • ½ oz. simple syrup
    • 4 oz. Biltmore Pas de Deux

    Method:
    Add blackberry purée, brandy and simple syrup to a Champagne flute. Fill with Pas de Deux. Garnish with two floating blackberries.
    Serves 1.
