  1. My tip for saving money during the holidays is to have a plan for gifting. Whether you do a name exchange or decide to only do gifts for the children, having a game plan and making sure everyone is on the same page takes so much pressure off and lets you enjoy the season without making unplanned and unnecessary purchases.

    i know everyone says never get a woman a vacuum for christmas but seriously that is the ONE thing I really really would love to get for christmas this year – ours doesn’t suck (which means it sucks – just not literally sucks which it is supposed to do) … i’d love a dyson or even a roomba – but IF i get one it’ll probably be another cheapo :(
