This post is sponsored by Boudreaux’s Butt Paste®, the effective diaper rash cream that treats and prevents diaper rash with every change. Let’s kick some rash!
If there is one thing that parents can ALL agree upon, it might be that diaper rash is not fun at all. Not for the baby, and not for the parents or caregivers. Sure, treatment methods may vary, but ultimately? If you find a diaper rash treatment that works for your child, you stick with it. Always. I know for me, once I knew what worked for my babies’ skin, there wasn’t much that could persuade me to try other products, brands, etc. Having seen my little ones’ sore tushies and feeling like I wasn’t able to help them feel better wasn’t something I wanted to mess around with.
Boudreaux’s Butt Paste was a brand I tried for diaper rash treatment because the name caught my attention. It’s a brand I love and use even today because it works great on my kids. I still love the name.

My kids all had diaper rashes, but my daughter’s first diaper rash was the most memorable. I was so diligent about changing her frequently, and keeping her clean and as dry as possible, and like many diaper rashes, started as just a hint of redness on her diaper area. I patted her dry and put a small amount of cream on her. An hour later, I changed her diaper again. I was very surprised at how red her diaper area was even after I’d used a little bit of cream. This time, I decided we’d do some naked time on a blanket, and I let her “air” for a few minutes. I applied cream much more liberally after this and diapered her again, making a mental note to check her again in an hour. Thankfully, things didn’t get worse, and a few days of applying diaper cream liberally had her good as new. Other rashes we have had have been far worse, thankfully only a handful of them- most were about the same. I’ve tried to have quality diaper creams in the house that help to soothe tender skin and provide a barrier to wetness to keep that baby skin from getting worse and letting it heal. Like I said before, Boudreaux’s Butt Paste has always been a favorite brand to Kick some RASH! with!

My son has only had it a few times. When he did get it we kept the area dry and put cream on it. I’m sure it is painful!

Leaving the diaper off if possible so the area stays dry. Soft wash cloths to cleanse the area without irritating soap. Using lots of diaper cream helps, also.
I let them air dry for a little bit and if that doesn’t work I do use Butt Paste

We use diaper rash creams and sometimes we do soothing oatmeal baths.
I use Butt Paste all the time to combat diaper rash!
We use Boudreaux’s Butt Paste and try not to keep a diaper on the rash when we don’t have to (like the rash get air for an hour or so…alittle messy but it sometimes helps)
I try to make sure the area is dry and change diaper as soon as possible

I care for Diaper Rash with frequent changes, cream, and good quality diapers. Sometimes I cloth diaper for awhile to help too.

When my grandson eats something new it seems to give him a rash ,so we reach for the Butt Paste .Been using it for yrs .
Just like the others, the best way to avoid diaper rash is changing my sons’ diapers often! I like knowing that he’s dry and comfortable and when he does get the periodic diaper rash, I’ve found that the butt paste works great!
We change him often and let him soak in the tub if it’s looking irritated.

I always use baby powder on a diaper rash after the ointment, it helps keep the moisture off the skin, which improves the rash.
my best tip is to use diaper rash ointment generously, the more you put on the better it seems to work
Make sure to keep the area dry. Use diaper cream right away to prevent a rash.

We never let our little man sit in a wet or soiled diaper, but if he does get red we make sure that his skin is dry before applying cream that contains zinc oxide. Thanks for the chance to win. XO
I use a little olive oil.

Oops, I forgot to do the mandatory entry. My shares are farther down on the page.
Luckily my son hasn’t had a lot of diaper rash (only a little when teething). I try to change him right away, so his skin stays dry. I love Butt Paste and it seems to help a lot. When he did have a rash, it cleared up right away.

My best tip is I use baking soda in a sink bath to help soothe the rash.. also I sprinkle corn starch on the bottom when I change her. If it keeps happening.. check for food allergies.. they tend to irritate the babies bottom
I always liked desitin creamy the best
