Being a mom of two girls, and a woman who struggled with self-esteem for much of my life, I know how important it is to help build my girls' self-esteem. I have long loved the Dove campaigns for more acceptance, and celebration of women without being perfect- and I'm glad that they have decided to include younger females in their campaigns as well. The messages we send children about their looks, their bodies- their self-esteem- those messages are long-since engrained within them by the time they are adults. Giving girls- children of both sexes, really- giving them the tools they need in order to have a good, strong self-esteem is something that we should all be focusing on. We've already used several Dove products as a family for a long time and we'll be continuing to do so.
Walmart and Dove® have teamed up to give US- that's right- folks like you, and me, an exclusive deal that is made to inspire girls of all ages to feel beautiful! Right now on, The Living Project: Dove, when you buy a customized Dove® bundle, you will also receive a FREE ZinePak® valued at $7!

I am inspired to be more giving, more attentive to mu children and my husband. I am inspired to be more giving and help those in need.
When I was a young girl, I had low self esteem, so I can relate. My inspiration to lead a better life comes from my family and a spiritual awakening; I know that the future is what we make ourselves.

I watched the video. I’m inspired to encourage a healthy outlook for the children I work with, and teaching them that they look exactly as they are supposed to… differences are ok.

Very inspiring. Girls today are under so much pressure, it’s nice to see that some folks really care.

I am inspired to be the best mom I can be and to make sure my kids know that God comes first.
I am always encouraged by companies that take a stand for children. They are our future and I’m so glad to partner (buy products) with businesses taking that extra step to offer support and help. My inspiration begins at home and then I encourage my children to extend a helping hand to their friends and neighbors. If we all do a little, the end result will be very big!

It’s makes me realize it’s simple to overlook how valuable praise and guidance can be to build self esteem of another.
this makes me inspired to encourage my daughters and their friends to follow their dreams, and talk to them on ways to develop their self esteem

Great idea. All children (esp girls) need to hear words of encouragement. Self esteem is too precious

that video is heartbreaking to think a little girl could squash her dreams just because of insecurity over her looks. I am inspired to give back in a small way when I buy Dove products and they donate to self-esteem programs for girls.

A better life for us means being able to live in a place we crave to be every day. My husband and I were both born on the East Coast and moved to AR about 20 years ago hoping to be able to get ahead due to the lower cost of living. Right up until the economy changed that was working well for us. Now we are struggling much like everyone else, but because we live in a very isolated part of the country and our family is back East, we don’t have much help to get through these times. We’re working hard to get to move back closer to family and some of the places we’ve always missed after moving here.
I try everyday to be thankful and helpful to the world around us.
