I may be one of the few people left in America who have never tasted a Shamrock Shake. I’m kind of afraid to, because what if I love it? I don’t need any more things on the “sugary” side of life to tempt me. That said, I don’t know anyone who HAS tasted these who doesn’t love them. My birthday is March 18th, The day after St Patty’s day. My grandmother’s birthday was St Patty’s day. When I was little, she would take me every year to get a shamrock shake for our birthdays. I still get one every year for my birthday. DH had softball this year and brought me one on his way home <3 They are the ONLY shakes that I will drink from McD's. LOL

I dont think they have the Shamrock shakes anymore but I maybe wrong. I assumed they were a St Patricks Day promo item & would only have them for the month of March. I dunno. Anyway all the other McCafe items look yummy & I would love to try any of them! lol
robin- i agree- i think the shamrock shakes were just until march. the rep assured me they are valid on any mccafe drinks. i posted this the day i got the coupons!!

I am just like you, 35 and had my first Shamrock Shake a couple of weeks ago. Even my kids were amazed that I had never had one!
The strawberry flavor is delicious too. Some of our McDs are out of the Shamrock. My daughter & I shared the strawberry & loved it.
