Disney Junior Magazine Review & Giveaway #DisneyJunior

disney junior magazineDid you know that Disney Junior Magazine has jam-packed issues full of 40 pages (give or take) of fun and games for the preschool crowd, with all of your child’s favorite Disney Junior character friends?  The April/May 2012 issue hits newsstands today and I have some exclusive sneak peeks for you all below!

We recently received an issue of this magazine (Feb/March 2012) to check out- I was really impressed.  Obviously the magazine itself is made to Disney standards- nice paper used, vibrant colors, sturdy cover…Inside the issue (February/March 2012) we found mazes, recipes, matching games, connect the dots and more- a poster to hang on the wall…so many fun things.  Many of our favorite Disney Junior friends  arrived in our mailbox on a cold, grey, rainy day when we were all feeling kind of “blue!”

As a mom, I love the wide array of activities.  Some of the pages just had spots to color- perfect for my 2.5 year old- the more involved activities are great for my 4.5 year old.  I love that there’s a special asterisk with some suggestions and expansion ideas just for parents (or caregivers) as well.

As for the kids, well, they love this magazine.  Fruit kebabs and coloring a Honey Hive keep my youngest entertained, along with the Little Einsteins pages.  For my son, he’s been enjoying the matching pairs game after cutting it out on his own and also likes all of the Jake and the Neverland Pirates activities/games.

Aside from beloved character pals and having MAIL come in their name, your little ones will also get some surprise benefits from Disney Junior magaine- cutting practice, matching skills, pattern recognition, following recipes counting, playing games, taking turns, and so much more.
