I Don’t Know How She Does It “Mom on the Go” Prize Pack #Giveaway (2 winners)

I Don't Know How She Does It Prize PackI haven’t seen I Don’t Know How She Does It, so I really don’t know how she does it, but I have heard this is a fun movie and I’m anxious for my DVD to arrive so I can find out HOW she does it!  I do know that I like Sarah Jessica Parker- she’s fun, she’s funny and quirky.  I can’t wait to see!
NBC’s ‘Moms & the City’ call
I DON’T KNOW HOW SHE DOES IT “a hilarious comedy about having it all” and “the perfect film for a girls night out!”  The New York Daily News’ Elizabeth Weitzman describes the film as having “plenty of humor and poignancy”, while SHAPE magazine’s Karen Borsari calls it “hilarious!”  Finally, New York Magazine’s David Edelstein proclaims, “Sarah Jessica Parker reminds you what an all-in, high-risk comic actress she can be.”
Trying to balance work and family is a non-stop juggling act for Kate Reddy (Sarah Jessica Parker).  As a determined Boston-based finance executive, she devotes her day to her job and her night to her adoring husband Richard (Greg Kinnear) and their two young children.  In between conference calls, meetings, deadlines, and her daughter’s school bake sale, Kate manages to survive on a daily basis.  But when she gets handed a major new account that will require frequent trips to New York, and Richard also wins the new job he’s been hoping for, both will be spreading themselves even thinner.  Complicating matters is Kate’s charming new business associate Jack Abelhammer (Pierce Brosnan), a handsome executive whose unexpected emotional support becomes a source of refuge.
The I DON’T KNOW HOW SHE DOES IT Blu-ray™ and DVD bonus features include a conversation with bestselling author, Allison Pearson.  Note: Special features are subject to change.

  5. Carmen Van Deursen says:

Take them to the park as often as possible, they sleep better at nights.

  6. Dani Jones says:

All children go through stages and learn with time and patience, some days patience is a little harder to find but I have to remember they learn from my example.

  7. Take everything in stride.

  8. Don’t sweat the small stuff!

  9. My Best Mom tip is put down the magazines and books and go with your natural instinct. You know your individual child better than anyone else. And you know how to take the best care of them. Well meaning advise is only advise – not the rule.

  10. Deeanne B. says:

Spend at least one (1) afternoon a week on yourself doing an activity you love that does not involve anyone else…puts me in a great frame of mind for the rest of the week. I know other Moms who need a glass of wine everyday, I don’t because I spend time on me instead.

  11. tamra childers says:

I think mommys should be put on timeout rather then the kids on occasions, pass the kids off to dad and tell him ‘I’m having a time out’ and go for a walk

  12. Don’t fight the small stuff. If it doesn’t matter, give the kid a choice.

  13. Julie Lundstrom says:

My best Mom tip is to brush up on multi-tasking for that is what we so best.

  14. Leslie G. says:

my best mom tip is…. whenever they ask you a ton of questions that never seem to end, you can just say, “well, what do you think?” They just want to talk. :)

  15. My Mom had many good tips but one I use over and over is if you have an SOS pad that you have used and it is still good- do not leave it out on the sink because it will rust – so put it in a baggie or container and put in freezer and when you need it again just wet it and use. :)

  16. Corinne Soto says:

for easy dinner clean up with a toddler get a dog, saves on mopping and dog food! LOL, we’ve taken to putting the dogs in another room, since apparently it’s funnier to watch the dogs scramble for dropped spoonfuls than it is to actually eat their own dinner.

  17. Lots of coffee and deep breathing helps keep a good mommy going!

  18. Nancy's Couture says:

I would tell any new Mom:
Choose your battles. Somethings aren’t worth fussing about. It’s okay if they want to wear rain boots every day or shorts with snow boots. They are learning to be independent and make decisions.

  19. angela dupree says:

When it comes to raising kids the best tip I can give is get rid of those hang ups and don’t nit pick because it makes everyone unhappy.

  20. Corey Olomon says:

As I’m a single father, you have to look elsewhere for mom tips! :)

  21. Amy Bailey says:

Take care of yourself so you can stay sane. Lots of self care and sleep :) Get a massage or take a nice bath :)

  22. Amanda Alvarado says:

Always kiss your babies good night and good bye. You never know what will happen!

  23. My best tip? It is to pick and choose your battles, particularly with a tween and a teen. My daughter loves to argue. She’s opinionated and I love that about her. Every now and then? it is exhausting. So, wear two different color shoes today and rock on with your bad self. Now, we will throw down over math homework.

  24. Don’t forget to take a little me time daily.
