We love listening to music. More often than not my kids want to have a dance party in the living room, or in the kitchen. We love to shake groove, and beebop (especially when the curtains are closed and no one can see This Mama bust a move…). Right now an almost constant in the cd player is BUGS from Mister G. His Twitter bio says its Dr Seuss meets Jack Black and I can’t think of a better description. Fun and funky, sunny and spunky. I love it and the kids love it. I’ve even caught Mr. Bargains tapping his toes along with the beat (he’s not a dancer).
There’s 14 songs on this album, including the title song, Bugs, Cocodrillo, Gonna Take My Hat (one of my faves), Grilled Cheese, Friends, The Shortest Song, Snow Day, Shark in My Bathtub (Buddy B’s fave), Blast Off, Pam the Pug, Brothers and Sisters, Ghost and Goblins, Vamos a la Playa, and Benny on the Jets. SO many fun songs, so much dancing to do!!
Mister G is actually kind of “local” to me, since he’s up in Massachusetts, and has a long list of places he’ll be doing concerts this summer. I’m hoping I
can make it to one that’s in nearby parts of Mass- what a blast that will be! He just looks like he’d have so much fun performing with the kids and I really hope we can coordinate!!
