My husband insists on my van being parked in our 1 car garage. If you opt to install this yourself, you have a DVD included with your starter and there’s also a toll-free tech support line listed on the packaging. There’s also a help video right on the Bulldog Security site that’s easy to navigate. My husband has installed remote starters before on other vehicles we’ve had, including Toyotas, which we have 3 of right now. You do need to be cautious and take your time to ensure you do things properly but by following directions carefully most people could do this install. (I say most, but don’t include myself. With any sort of wiring or mechanical things that may end up not working I prefer to keep him company and bring drinks when he asks for them to actually installing things….) Were my husband not able to do this, I can assure you that for me, no matter how simple the instructions, I’d be calling a professional to get this job done. I may have skills in fixing things but I don’t dare touch cars. Too expensive when I forget to put a part back in!!
