Fairhaven Health Review and Giveaway Ends 5/19/11

I just love finding all natural pregnancy products. Sometimes it feels like a pregnant woman is so restricted in her options. No deli meat, no caffeine, stay away from cleaning supplies, etc…. I have found that there really aren’t that many products out there for woman who are looking for an all natural alternative, particularly ones that are geared specifically for the pregnant woman.

That’s why I was so excited when I learned about the Fairhaven Health website. Not only do they sell pregnancy products, but also nursing and fertility aids. I had the opportunity to try out the Pregnancy Deodorant and the Tea-For-Two.
The Pregnancy Deodorant was a product that I had never seen before. To tell the truth, until now, I have never even thought about the harsh chemical and additives that are included in products such as deodorant and makeup. This deodorant does not contain any of the harsh chemicals that other do, such as aluminum and parabens. The deodorant is a roll on, with a very light scent. I have to admit that I was skeptical at first. After all, I am a Secret Clinical Strength type of girl, but this deodorant actually worked! I had no problems with perspiration and the product worked throughout the day. It was great, and I will definitely be sticking with it during my pregnancy and after!
The Tea-For-Two Pregnancy Tea is also all-natural and completely safe for baby and mom. It helps to tone the uterus and helps relieve morning sickness (yipee!). The tea can also be used during labor to help comfort and energize. Fairhaven Health recommends freezing the tea to make lozenges or ice pops. What a great idea for hydration during labor! I will definitely be trying this trick.
The tea arrived in a gold foil package, in it’s loose leaf form. I personally love a loose leaf tea. I think it has a much fresher taste, and it maintains it’s nutritional value better in this form. The tea is caffeine free, of course, and has a wonderful lemony flavor. It wasn’t bitter at all, and the flavor was not overpowering. In fact, it has replaced my regular tea in the morning, and I have to keep my husband away from it!
