When you text your family, do you ever think about the outrageous costs that add up with each and every OMG and LOL?
Cost of a simple, average “LOL” = $0.20.
“Picking the kids up at 6” + “Will be bringing home dinner, too” = a $0.40 exchange!

I’m going to share with you a FREE mobile messaging app, TextNow, which will eliminate those costly (and pesky) texting fees by providing unlimited FREE texting on your iPod Touch, iPad, iPad 2 and iPhone. Even those with older kids can stop begging you for an iPhone to text their friends and start texting with their iPods, free of charge!
Features include the unlimited texting- and you can use landscape mode if you are sharing images or a longer text. There’s an option for picture messaging too. I like that you can customize your TextNow with different color schemes, wallpapers, “ring” tones, signatures and emoticons. Makes for more fun- but also, if you are a blogger like me, you can include key links you want in your texts as your signature when communicating with those who may not have your link. Saves some time for you and gets your link more exposure!
