>How many times have parents of preschoolers (ok, ANY child) wonder what they can possibly do to fill up their day? Why not have a sing along? Grab a friend, grab some props, and put on a show just like Sid, May, Gerard and Gabriella do in the new Sid’s Sing Along DVD!
Sid wonders what he could possibly do on his day off from school. But when all of his friends come over for a play date, they quickly put their science minds together and decide to put on a show in the backyard! They each take turns rocking out as they sing their favorite science songs for a very appreciative audience of Mom, Dad, and Zeke!
We really like Sid the Science kid. The quirky clothes, hair, mannerisms of the characters, to the family dynamic at Sid’s house, the groan-a-lot “good laughternoon” part of each show– to the awesome experiments and science learning so craftily woven into each episode so sneakily that the most resistant child won’t seem to notice they are actually learning! My kids are always wanting a notebook and a pencil for days after we watch an episode of this show, and being able to sing with Sid and his pals makes my kids relate on one more level to the characters on this show. They loved dancing along with Sid and his friends!
Of course, I, as mom, would love Teacher Susie’s job- 4 students, always cooperative and glad to be at school, and a 30 minute class per day!!
