  26. There is nothing wrong with adding a zero calorie option, but Propel has been aggressively suppressing negative reactions to the change by loyal drinkers of Propel’s original formula on their Facebook page. Instead of Propel Zero being added as an additional option, it completely replaced the original formula, and rumor has it — the decision was made due to increased cost of sugar. Some people are ‘diet’ beverage drinkers that don’t mind the taste of sucralose and ace-K sweetened drinks and others find artificially sweetened beverages intolerable. Unfortunately in the name of profit, Propel chose to disappoint many loyal customers that found the 10 calorie formula to be low calorie enough, yet sweet enough to not taste ‘diet’ — and chose to lie to these people by telling them they cannot offer both original formula Propel and Propel Zero because stores don’t have enough shelf space.
