>Sometimes I feel selfish that I’m working so hard to become “me” again- but honestly, I don’t think I’m doing anyone favors by becoming so immersed in mommyhood that I lose sight of the fact that I am also a woman, a wife, a friend, a sister, a daughter, a niece, an aunt…the list goes on. I feel like if I don’t give “me” some priority, how can I possibly set the example for my children to do the same? Or rather, how can I set the example I want them to follow? I’ve been wearing pajamas for so long that they are literally falling apart- and honestly, while they are definitely comfortable, they are not something that necessarily makes me feel good. Recently I kind of had this moment where I realized, I’ve pretty much neglected myself in almost all areas….not cool. So, here I am to share with you about some pretty new pajamas I have to wear.
Now, I’m not saying that I will be wearing my new Smart and Sexy pajamas ALL of the time, but you know what? When I want to feel pretty and flirty and attractive, I darn sure will be! I will probably be ordering some bra/undies sets as I lose more weight to reward myself…because one of the very best thing about Smart & Sexy aside from their selection of products is that they are an affordable price point.
I received 2 ‘sets’ to review (before you go shrieking and covering your eyes, there will not be photos of me in anything). The 2 chemises I received are styled as this pink one is pictured above- only in a purple and a black color. I honestly would never have chosen purple because it just isn’t a color I’m drawn to but its a light, happy color and actually complements my skin tone so I’ve fallen in love with it!
I really like that the items Smart and Sexy sells are both beautiful, affordable and comfortable. The panties are comfortable, no scratchy lace, no cheap elastic.
The lace on the chemises is also not scratchy, but honestly pretty soft. The chemises are also fully lined so you can feel flirty and pretty without being super revealing- especially when you have to get up and help one of your kids in the middle of the night!
As with most lingerie products, these items are hand wash only and line dry.
I love that Smart & Sexy offers such affordable matching sets. If you know me at all you know I love matching things and I can’t wait to start buying new sets as my body gets smaller!! Perhaps I’ll even try out some of the swimwear on this site, too. Very reasonably priced, and nice quality. I think the tankinis are cute and you can buy different colors and prints at this price point- so mix and match, and feel like you have lots more swimwear options!!
Actually, even just writing this post is inspiring me even more to keep going strong with being healthier and losing weight so I CAN buy some new sets and swimwear for this summer!!
