>Lilla Rose Flexi Clip Review and Giveaway Sweet & Simple Valentine’s Event

>I love trying out new hair styling accessories. However, I have very fine, slippery hair and most clips, barrettes or claws immediately slide out of my hair. I have a really hard time getting a nice tight style that will last the day. I have to admit that I was a little skeptical when I was sent the Lilla Rose Flexi Clip for review. I’ve tried all types of products before and I inevitably end up reverting back to my tried and true black pony tail holder.
However, I was up to the challenge. I wanted to give this clip a chance. The first step in choosing a Flexi Clip is to visit the sizing video. It does a really nice job of demonstrating sizing for different hair types. The clips range in size from mini to extra large. I chose the extra small for my thin, fine hair. Next, you need to choose the style. This was the hard part! There were dozens of design and color options. The clips themselves are beautiful, with etched silver and jewels. I chose the Etched Lily with Amethyst.

I was surprised when my order arrived in 1 day! Along with the clip, the envelope included a brochure explaining how to use the clip and 4 different styling options. The Ponytail, the Half-Up Ponytail, the Tails Up and the French Twist. I happened to have a dinner party that night and thought I would give the Flexi Clip a try. Since I am not talented with hairstyles I stuck with simple pony tail. I gathered my hair, gave it a twist for good measure, and slid the clip in. That was it! The clip looked great and it held my ponytail all night. I was amazed that my hair didn’t fall right out of it, and that my ponytail felt tight and secure. In addition, the other guests at the dinner party immediately noticed my new hair accessory and loved it. The Flexi Clip turned my everyday ponytail into a stylish look that was effortless.

I love the one piece design of the clip itself. The pin is connected to the ornate clip so there is no fumbling around for pins while you are putting up your hair. I think this is ingenious. It made placement of the clip much easier. The pin also has teeth that grab onto the clip and secure it. I think this really helped keep the style tight.

Since I had such good luck with the ponytail, I decided to get adventurous and try out the other styling option. I can’t believe that I was able to easily use the Flexi Clip for all 4 style and it felt secure and stayed for hours! Even the French Twist, and believe me, I have never successfully executed a French twist before. I also love that the Flexi Clip is so affordable. At a price point around $12, it would be great to own 2 or 3 different styles.
