Let me introduce you to Bambo Nature diapers. This will be the disposable that I use or purchase in the future from now on!! My baby had a bad rash from antibiotics she was on and we actually just finished a whole pack of the size 3 diapers. She can stay in the size 3 at least 5 more pounds- these are generously sized for sure. I needed to get her rash cleared and her diapers stripped so I just decided to go with these diapers for a while and make things easier for me. VERY absorbent, very soft, and knowing the manufacturing process made me feel like I was still protecting her sensitive skin from harsh chemicals.
Bambo Nature puts both the interests of your child and the environment as our top priorities.Bambo Nature nappies are just like ordinary disposables, but they have a much lower eco footprint. Bambo Nature nappies are both ultra-thin and ultra-absorbent with a unique layer that draws wetness away from baby’s skin, keeping baby dry and comfortable even with repeat wetting. The nappies have been designed in conjunction with parents to assure the product has a practical design and are user friendly.
Bambo Nature is available in 5 sizes to suit all ages – from birth until your child naturally achieves full continence. The Bambo Nature product line begins with Size 2 and continues with Sizes 3, 4, 4+, and 5.
For those of you that require Premie, Newborn (Size 1) and Training Pants, Abena also offers the Bambo Baby Diaper product line. Please Note: This line has been awarded the Nordic Swan Eco-Label, too! They are officially and independently certified to be environmentally friendly, just like the Bambo Nature product line. You can buy these products with the same confidence as Bambo Nature.
What we received: A package of size 3, a package of Newborn and a package of the Training pants in size 6. Now, obviously I do not have a newborn but my kids’ godparents just had a baby and at 9.5 lbs at birth did not fit in most newborn sized diapers. He DID fit in these. His parents were more than happy to help me check these out, and were very pleased with both the performance and the fit, and also the ease of use to fold the diaper below the umbilical stump. I already shared that I was happy with the 3′s, and my 5 year old was pretty happy with the training pants. (She’s since stopped wearing training pants to bed anymore, but didn’t complain about them being uncomfortable as she has with other bigger kid nighttime pants, and thought they felt soft). I actually was really glad to find a more gentle overnight training pant for because she’s prone to UTI’s and the less chemicals near HER sensitive parts, the better.
I also like that these diapers are plain in color and the only designs are on the waistband- and those are neutral designs. The elastic is in the side panels holding the tabs which may not be something parents are used to if they are used to traditional disposables but easy to get used to.
Onto the fun part- SEVEN of my winners will be winning from this giveaway!! Thank you Bambo Nature for their generosity!! Two Grand Prize Winners will get of a Case of Diapers. 5 Runner-Ups will winof a bag of Diapers.

>While my husband and I prefer to use cloth diapers, there are occasions when we feel we need to use disposables. And when we use disposable diapers, it's important to us to find chemical free products for our daughter's sensitive bum. However, they're not always easy to find and when we do, can be quite costly! We would love to try these diapers out — they sound like a great product

>After fighting rashes and bad reactions from conventional disposable diapers on my daughter for months, we discovered the wonders of chlorine-free diapers and cloth diapers! After having such success with these chemical-free diapers, we researched a bit more, discovering the absolute improvement in ecological impact these diapers have on the environment. We're sold. Our family uses cloth when baby hits the size needed for AIO, but we use chemical free disposables for the newborn period, as well as hectic periods when it's easier to not have the extra laundry and on trips. rasmith0506 at gmail dot com

>I realized a couple of years ago that our skin absorbs an amazing amount of chemicals. I started researching chemical free products after I began having allergic reactions. It is scary what is in products, especially baby items. I have switched all our personal care items over to much more natural and safer choices. It's a bonus for me that most of those also are ecofriendly! I would love to try these for my son.beadsidemyself at gmail dot com

>In the past parents were unaware of the harmful effects of various chemicals found in many baby products (like toys, most disposable diapers). Chemicals such as flame retardants, germ killers–they are all meant for the good! To the delicate developing baby these can cause some problems in the future. Now that I am a parent, I know I am not a "all natural, green, organic" fanatic—but I am desiring to give our child what is good and healthy. Even if it means making the sacrifice of convenience or spending more for something better and good.n.snaer at gmail dot com

>I'm super interested in chemical-free diapers because my son has sensitive skin and constantly gets diaper rash. I've tried every lotion/cream known to man and nothing has worked. I would love to use cloth, but my current washer/dryer situation prevents their use. And of course I always attempt to use eco-friendly alternatives since we all need to strive for sustainability since the earth's resources are ultimately limited.philadybug AT hotmail DOT com
