Thirsties sent us one of their Duo Wrap Snaps in the Alice Brights print in a size 2, along with a Stay Dry Duo insert.
These are SO easy to use, and a nice trim fit. The Duo Wrap comes in 2 sizes, 1 and 2, and has 3 rows of snaps to adjust for the best fit for your baby. Mine is a peanut (she isn’t quite 19lbs at 14.5 months) and wears the size 2 on the smallest setting. I have a *thing* for prints but there are 12 color/print options so I’m sure you can find something you like.
I love these diapers for their versatility. I have actually already ordered myself a Fab Fitted in size medium and the Warm Stripes Duo Wrap (in Aplix, so unlike me, but I wanted to check it out). You can use the Stay Dry Duo insert (which is what Thirsties sent me, pictured above, and below laying atop the duo wrap), a fitted, a prefold, or even a disposable insert. That’s a lot of options!! Plus, with this kind of diaper, you can re-use the cover for a few diaper changes unless it gets soiled, so that’s a nice feature as well.
I have a thing about snaps on diapers, because my kids seem to have a knack for discovering aplix and velcro very young and having an incessant fascination with it for a long, long time. Snaps keep them out of trouble, especially in their cribs. (I have heard horror stories about diapers being removed, as I’m sure you have…)

This is a big thing for us because my kids have all been heavier wetters and I have no patience for changing crib sheets all the time. Plus, look at the nice, trim fit. Still dry, still fitting wonderfully, and still trim!! The leg gussets really keep solids IN the diaper so no messy leaks…which is probably one of the things we all as parents dread- poo leaking from diapers!!
Caring for this diaper and insert is easy, and you DO want to be sure to wash them both once before wearing/using.
