>Pedipeds, if you have not yet heard of them, are a wonderful brand of shoes from birth to kids size 13.5. They were designed by parents to be the “best thing next to bare feet” and I think they’ve hit that on th enose!! The Originals, which is what we got to try out, are soft soled shoes, which the experts say is ideal for babies and toddlers to wear, and they are a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e.

Originals® - the best first shoe ever: pediped® Originals® are the best first shoes for children and remain the best choice as children learn to walk. The soft flexible soles are recommended by pediatricians and podiatrists as they allow children to closely mimic barefoot walking.
The Originals® Fall Winter line for girls features updates on classic styles, including Abigail purple and chocolate brown. Two adorable styles of faux fur boots are offered in the Giselle and Avery styles. pediped® uses sheepskin for the first time in the Isabella for girls and the Charlie for boys. The boy’s line also includes a variety of casual athletic styles like the Christopher and the Luke.
The Couture Collection was inspired by the American West with metallic cowboy boots and Mary Janes. The Originals® collection will retail for $32 and is available for children 0-2 years. The Couture Collection styles will retail for $42.
We got to try the Originals, in the “Giselle” for Baby B. She’s been wearing them almost nonstop for about a month- I wanted to be sure they got some good use before posting my review- she’s the first of my kids to wear Pedipeds as a walker (not sure why) and I wanted to share how well they hold up. I am happy to report and not at all surprised that they’ve held up marvelously. Pedipeds really takes care to make a quality shoe that holds up to all kinds of wear and tear (read: what kid is ever “easy” on their shoes?). The shoes have velcro closure, but its a nice strong velcro and it really holds on tight, regardless of how far the strap overlaps on it (my girl is a tiny thing and has skinny little feet so we have a good amount of overhang from the flap. They haven’t come undone even once! She’s worn them inside, outside, to church, the park, our yard, the playground, stores, sleeping, you name it, she’s worn them. They still look brand new! We are love, love loving them and will be very sad when she outgrows them…although to be honest? I have my eye on the above pictured Isabella Sheepskin style for winter for her already!!

Grip ‘n’ Go™ – the perfect shoe for the active toddler: pediped® Grip ‘n’ Go™, are the perfect shoes for a toddler transitioning from early walking to walking with a more confident stride. Being brand new, I can’t wait to check out the Grip’n'Go line since Baby B is walking full time now!! (Ok, running. But still) I love that they added this “in between” line.
Flex® - the ultimate shoe for confident walkers: pediped Flex are the ultimate shoes for confident walkers who have developed a solid, natural stride.
The Fall Flex line has a fabulous array of boots for girls including the suede Elizabeth fashion boot, the red Carrie Cowboy boot and the Tonya riding boot. Fall also brings the expansion of athletic washable styles and ballet flats will Memory Foam Technology. Flex® styles range in price from $34-$79 and are available in EU sizes 20-29 with select styles now offered in larger sizes going to EU 31.
