>Tropical Traditions Non-Toxic All Purpose Cleaner Review & Giveaway

>

This month we got to review the Tropical Traditions All Purpose, Non-Toxic Cleaner.  Love it.  Or rather, loved it.  It’s pretty much gone already, I loved it too much I guess!?
My kids love helping clean.  LOVE to.  I was always hesitant to let them help because of the toxicity of cleaners in our home.  I think I’ve almost fully weeded out all the chemicals I can at this point, and I like to sya “yes” to them when they are trying to help and be just like me.  (Plus, free help!)   Using non-toxic stuff gives ME peace of mind that the kids can use it sprayed on a cloth, and also that if the dog licks the floor (or, the kids.  Hey, I’m real.  My kids are weird.  Aren’t most kids weird?  Kids do weird stuff, and yes, they do lick the floor sometimes.  Maybe not today, but one day.  So I prefer to use non-toxic cleaners even on the floor) or, like this morning, the kids decide that the baby needs to eat some puffs off of the floor, there aren’t harmful chemicals going into their mouths and bodies.
I like that its a nice, super light scent- long gone are my days of thinking nothing was clean until the house smelled like bleach.  Nice light scent, no residue left on surfaces, and non-toxic.   This Mama Loves this cleaner!!

This is the list of suggested uses from the website: (My comments are in purple)

Kitchens
Spray Household Traditions All Purpose Cleaner on counter tops, stove tops, ovens, refrigerators and sinks and wipe clean. For more difficult areas, let sit for a longer period of time. May also be used as a dishwashing liquid in the sink or dishwasher. Put in soap dispenser or foamer and use for hand soap. Cuts grease, wax and oil.  ***We basically only used this in the kitchen and dining area.  The kids love to help wash the table and chairs down (yes, that’s right, we have to wash our chairs down after they eat.  There’s 3 of them and they are messy!!)  after meals so there wasn’t really a chance to try it other places.

Bathrooms
Spray Household Traditions All Purpose Cleaner in the bathtub, sink and toilet. Wipe and rinse. Also spray on soap scum, mold and mildew; leave on for several minutes, then wipe and rinse clean.
Automobiles
Use 1-2 oz. Household Traditions All Purpose Cleaner in 1 gallon of water when washing car.
  • Exterior: For bugs, tree sap and tar, spray directly on the area. Let sit for a few minutes, then wash off with water and a clean cloth. Works great for removing grease, dirt & oil!
  • Tires: Spray directly on tires. Let sit several minutes, then gently scrub with a brush and rinse clean.
  • Engine: Spray directly on cool engine. Let sit for up to 30 minutes, then wipe or spray clean.
Fruits/Vegetables
Spray on fruits/vegetables, then rinse clean.  **We buy almost all organic or grow our own veggies and fruits so we usually just do a good rinse, so I’m not sure this is a use I’d attempt.  If you do or have, please let me know!!
Laundry
Pre-spray stains and spots with Household Traditions All Purpose Cleaner. Use 1-3 ounces in wash cycle. Heavily soiled or large loads: Pre-spray stains and spots. If especially greasy or soiled, allow to soak for at least 30 minutes or even overnight if necessary, then wash as normal. Works great for removing blood, grease, wax, dirt & oil!
Soot/Tar/Grease/Grills
Spray directly on surface and let sit for several minutes. Scrub with a brush and wipe clean with a damp cloth. Repeat if necessary.
Other Uses

Household Traditions All Purpose Cleaner can be used on carpets, walls, and floors. May also be used as carpet shampoo. (Substitute carpet shampoo with Household Traditions All Purpose Cleaner when cleaning.)

**I want to try this on our siding, and my van, which have artillery fungus spores on them that NOTHING in the world can remove!!!
