Welcome to my Safe Fun in the Sun event!! I’ll be showcasing products that we all use during the summer months both outdoors and indoors that are safe and/or good for us.  Up first??  Sand Gone!!  We received a cute little 8oz. tub of non-toxic powder that’s also NOT talc to review.  Its made from natural ingredients.  Safety first, that’s our motto in the Bargain household, my friends!!  You know when you go to the beach and no matter what footwear you have, or how far the walk to the car is, there’s ALWAYS residual sand on some part of you?  Even if you walk in grass?  Sand Gone is the answer.  It really is. 

Sand Gone feels like a really, really soft, smooth baby powder.   Each time you use the little puff and get some sand gone on it, you get a smell of coconut.  Super beachy, no?  It also makes your skin feel smooth like buttah after you use it.  Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, the beach.  Love that smell.  Hate the sand on my feet and all over the car. 

I think Sand Gone is going to  be a permanent part of the bag I keep in the car for beach visits with extra sunscreen, hats for the kids, sand toys, and an emergency towel.  Might as well be prepared!! 

Mind you, Miss “I’m turning 5 in Julyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy and July is soon” is under the impression that Sand Gone is in some way MAKEUP and is chomping at the bit to get her little hands on this little tub of beachy-smelling goodness- one thing that’s nice is that I can let her apply it to herself, since its non-toxic and non-talc- I just won’t let her have at it.  We won’t have any Sand Gone left and she’ll be smelling beachy for a month. 

My one caution to you is that if you are wet, this isn’t going to work as well.  So I will suggest that you do what we did and use it right before getting in the car, so you have a chance to dry off before applying it. 

Sand Gone was created by a mom.  Coincidence that so many wonderful things are created by moms?  No. I think not!!  She’s my kind of mama, thinking about having some Safe Fun in the Sun!!  Sand Gone is one of the 3 finalists for Dallas Market Center’s “The Next Big Thing.”
