This is not my kid, not my Little Looster, not my bathroom. But it could be. Its a simple design- see where the girl’s little feet are resting? Little “L’s” in different sizes are all over the top (no slipping). Its lightweight, and so simple- easy to clean, and easy for kids to use. Easy like since we received this thing, my little guy has been getting on and off the loo WITHOUT my help. Freedom!!
If you have ever potty trained a child, you know the fun of the able-to-use-the-potty-but-not-able-to-get-ON-the-potty phase. Its one of my very least favorites. Especially with other kids in the house. My poor 2nd and 3rd kids- both were born just as their older sibling decided to potty train and as a result, were constantly having their nursing sessions interrupted so I could help the older kid get onto the potty. When I heard what the Little Looster was and that they wanted some bloggers to review it, I jumped on the chance.
Besides allowing little ones to feel independent, this also allows them to not touch the toilet seat to balance themselves. No more feeling like they’ll fall in!! Parents and other grownups don’t need to move the Looster aside when it is their turn to use the loo- even my short legs weren’t inconvenienced by the looster.

Little Looster LLC is a Portland, OR based business. The Looster itself was conceived and designed by Monica Mylet, a mother of 3. She came up with the design and need after parenting 3 kids through the potty training process.Just about every aspect of the Looster’s life cycle from birth-of-concept to design and manufacturing was completed by Oregon based companies.
In short (haha right. Me? not longwinded? Never!), if you have little kids, this is fantastic. It can be used for the first few years that your child is using the loo. Genius (I’m kind of mad I didn’t think of it myself, but that’s always the case when I hear about cool inventions like this). It really does NOT take up half the bathroom, we have a small half bath it is in right now and its fine. Some people in this house do not agree with me but they are not the ones spending their days at home helping children on and off the potty so we’ll just stick with MY opinions.
(Busy would like you all to know that SHE thinks it would be really pretty if it was pink with sparkles. But, then, she thinks highways would be better with sparkles. I don’t disagree but I don’t want to offend anyone who isn’t quite so enthralled with sparkles and pink things as we are).

I was amazed and listened intently and went home and tried it. I emailed him (he worked at the same company) about how I tried it and how it went. Skip ahead 7 years…that man is now my wonderful husband and we have 3 beautiful children!
